The butter (at room temperature) is mixed for a few minutes with a pinch of salt, powdered sugar, candied orange powder and cocoa powder.

Add eggs one at a time and continue mixing.

Quench the baking soda in warm milk and add it over the rest of the ingredients already mixed for a few good minutes.

Give up the mixer, add flour and knead until you get a non-sticky dough (greasy, due to the butter in the composition).

Put baking paper in the tray and preheat the oven.

Break the pieces of dough, form the horseshoes to the desired size and align them nicely in the tray, leaving some gaps between them because they will grow during baking.

Bake the pan for 15 minutes. the temp. of 170 degrees.

Let them cool.

(I powdered some of them and with powdered sugar to serve them immediately because I was going to decorate them only the next day with icing and candies)

Melt the chocolate in a saucepan in liquid cream.

Put the pot aside, let the icing cool and decorate the horseshoes with it as you like.

Finally, sprinkle the colored candies and the coconut.

Good appetite!
